Transforming Cambridge House: A Blend of Luxury and Heritage

Introduction to the Cambridge House Project

The transformation of Cambridge House presents a unique opportunity to breathe new life into a Grade I listed former ‘in and out’ club located on the bustling Piccadilly. This project encompasses complex structural enhancements while preserving the essence of the original architectural design. The objective is to ultimately create a luxurious 102-key hotel along with seven exclusive super-prime residences.

Restoration and Development Details

The undertaking involves meticulous restoration of three historic buildings, including the prestigious Grade I listed Cambridge House and Grade II listed properties at 90-93 and 95 Piccadilly. The endeavor will also touch adjacent sites on Half Moon Street, White Horse Street, and Shepherd Market, ensuring a cohesive integration of both new and historical elements.

Collaboration and Future Vision

In close collaboration with Westminster City Council’s conservation officers and Heritage England, the development team is committed to retaining the character and charm of the original structures. This comprehensive scheme will feature not only a boutique hotel adorned with modern amenities such as restaurants, bars, and a luxurious spa but also the creation of private residences.

The project will introduce a multi-storey basement, implement acoustic isolation measures, and restore roofs and façades to maintain historical integrity alongside a luxurious internal fit-out led by renowned designer Jean-Louis Deniot.
