Revitalizing a London Icon: The Transformation of the Forum Hotel

Introduction to the Transformation

The historic Forum Hotel on Cromwell Road is undergoing a comprehensive transformation aimed at revitalizing one of London’s most recognizable hotels. Complete Group is undertaking this extensive refurbishment, ensuring that the development respects the building’s original character while introducing modern hospitality amenities.

Key Elements of the Refurbishment

This ambitious project encompasses significant structural enhancements, including the reinforcement of the building’s existing structural core. One of the highlights is the replacement of the current two-storey rooftop plant area with a new rooftop extension. This new space will feature a panoramic bar and restaurant on the 28th floor, offering guests breathtaking views of London.

Enhancing the Hotel’s Elegance and Sustainability

The revitalization plan also includes refreshing the hotel’s exterior. Plans are in place to replace the existing windows and clean the façade, helping to restore the building’s grandeur. Modern curtain walling will be introduced on the ground floor and rooftop extension to create a seamless blend of contemporary design with the striking architecture of the original structure.

In addition, critical infrastructure improvements are set to enhance both the efficiency and sustainability of the hotel. New lifts and upgraded mechanical and electrical systems will support the hotel’s long-term operational needs, ensuring it meets modern energy efficiency standards while maintaining exceptional comfort for guests.

The redesign includes a complete reimagining of the front-of-house areas and guest amenities, featuring a luxury spa, pool, and gym, making the Forum Hotel a premier destination for visitors to London.
